AI agents for home services

Capture the job, location and urgency—then schedule the right team.

Plumbers, electricians, HVAC, cleaning and maintenance companies miss calls because they are on a job. An AI agent answers phone, WhatsApp and web enquiries, works out what needs doing and where, prioritises emergencies and books the right technician’s next available slot.

Sound familiar?

Where enquiries slip through today.

The everyday friction teams describe before an AI agent takes the first response.
  • Calls come in while your team is under a sink or on a roof; missed calls become jobs for a competitor.

  • It takes several messages to find out what the problem is, where the property is and how urgent it really is.

  • Emergencies and routine quote requests land in the same inbox, so priorities get mixed up.

  • Scheduling means matching the job type to the right technician and the right area, usually from memory.

  • Customers are not told when the technician will arrive, so the phone rings again.

Three high-value workflows

What the agent takes on, step by step.

Each workflow is configured around your rules, wording and systems. The steps show the typical shape; the details are yours.
  1. Job capture and triage

Find out what needs doing, where and how urgently—on any channel.

    1. Answer the call or message immediately with your company greeting
    2. Ask what the problem is, using your job-type list to guide the follow-up questions
    3. Collect the property address, access details and the best contact number
    4. Assess urgency against your rules—for example, active leaks, no heating, no power—and mark emergencies
    5. Request photos on WhatsApp where they help with a quote
    6. Create the job in your scheduling or CRM system

Outcome: Every enquiry becomes a job card with location, problem and priority

  2. Technician scheduling and confirmation

Book the right person, in the right area, at a real available time.

    1. Match the job type and location to qualified technicians and their zones
    2. Offer arrival windows from the team’s connected schedule
    3. Confirm the visit and send the customer a summary with preparation notes
    4. Send a reminder, and an on-the-way message when your workflow triggers it
    5. Handle reschedules and release the slot for another customer

Outcome: Fewer wasted trips and far less phone tag

  3. Quotes, follow-up and reviews

Keep quoted work moving and ask for feedback when the job is done.

    1. Send the quote your team has prepared and answer approved questions about scope and payment
    2. Follow up on unanswered quotes on a schedule you set
    3. Confirm acceptance and book the work
    4. After completion, send the invoice link and ask for a review
    5. Log everything against the customer record

Outcome: Quoted work is followed up consistently, and reviews come in

Example conversation

Emergency call triaged and booked while the team is on site

An illustrative conversation showing the agent at work—and what it does in your systems while it talks. Names, times and figures are examples, not client data.
  1. Customer: Hi, there’s water coming through my kitchen ceiling from the flat upstairs. I need someone today.
  2. Agent: I’m sorry to hear that—let’s get it sorted. I’m the company’s AI assistant and can book an emergency visit. First, is the water still actively coming through right now?
  3. Customer: Yes, it’s dripping steadily. I’ve put a bucket under it.
  4. Agent: Thank you. If it is safe to do so, please avoid using lights or sockets near the leak, and ask the neighbour upstairs to turn off their water at the stopcock if they can. What’s the address, and is there a parking or entry code the technician should know?
  5. Customer: Flat 3, 14 Kyprou Street, Limassol. The entry code is 2580.
  6. Agent: Got it. I’ve marked this as an emergency. Nikos covers your area and can be with you between 09:30 and 10:30 this morning. Shall I confirm that?
  7. Customer: Yes please, as soon as possible.
  8. Agent: Confirmed: Nikos, today between 09:30 and 10:30. You’ll receive a text with his details, and another when he’s on his way. Is the number you’re calling from the best one to reach you?
  9. Customer: Yes, that’s fine.
  10. System: Emergency job created · Nikos dispatched 09:30–10:30 · Customer notified by SMS

Before and after

The same enquiries. A different day.

What changes when the agent handles the first response and the admin around it—and where your team stays in the loop.
Before

Manual first response

  • Calls ring out on site; voicemails are returned hours later, if at all.

  • Job details are pieced together from several messages before anyone can quote or schedule.

  • Emergencies sit in the same queue as routine quote requests.

  • Scheduling relies on one person who knows every technician’s skills and areas.

  • Customers call back to ask when the technician will arrive.

After

With an AI agent

  • Every call and message is answered immediately, and emergencies are recognised from the first sentence.

  • Job type, address, access details and photos are captured in one conversation.

  • Priority rules put urgent jobs first and route them to the nearest qualified technician.

  • Arrival windows come from the real schedule, with confirmations and on-the-way messages sent automatically.

  • Your team fixes things; the phone is answered.

Recommended package

The package we usually recommend.

Home-services companies are phone-first: most enquiries arrive as calls while the team is on site, and emergencies need priority routing. Business includes the AI voice receptionist alongside WhatsApp and web, routing rules and integration with your scheduling software. Companies whose enquiries are mainly WhatsApp and web can start with Pro.

Human control

What the agent does—and what stays with your team.

The agent captures job details, gives only the safety guidance you have approved word for word, prioritises by your rules and books visits. It does not diagnose faults, quote prices unless you have approved a fixed price list, or make safety judgements—your technicians do that on site. Situations involving gas, fire or electrical danger are handled with your approved instruction to contact the emergency services first. Addresses, access codes and call recordings are stored only in the systems you control, with recording notices where required.

The agent

  • Collects information
  • Answers approved general questions
  • Schedules, routes and escalates

Your team

  • Makes every medical, legal, financial or eligibility decision
  • Approves anything outside the rules you set
  • Reviews the conversation history at any time

FAQ

Common questions

Honest answers about scope, data and control for this sector.

Yes. The AI voice receptionist answers calls in a natural voice, captures the job, address and urgency, and books an arrival window from your schedule. Callers can ask for a person at any time and are transferred or called back according to your rules.

You define the rules—active leaks, no heating in winter, no power, security issues—and the agent asks the questions needed to apply them. Emergencies jump the queue and can trigger an immediate call or message to the on-duty technician.

Only from a price list you approve—for example, call-out fees or fixed-price services. Anything that requires an assessment is quoted by your team after the visit or from the photos the agent collects.

Google and Outlook calendars connect directly. Field-service and job-management tools vary; the Business package includes integration work scoped after we see your system, and the agent can otherwise book into a shared calendar your dispatcher manages.

The agent can handle the languages you approve, on phone and messaging, and passes a summary to your team in your working language.

Usually not. Calls can be forwarded from your existing number when unanswered, after hours or always—your choice. Telephony minutes are billed separately, as noted on the pricing page.
